Flash has two types of tween:
Motion Tween
In Motion Tween, Flash automatically animates the movement of a Movie Clip between two positions predetermined by you.
Shape Tween
In Shape Tween, Flash will animate the transition of an object into another object.
We are going to start with Motion Tween.
Create a Movie Clip, draw any thing you want. Select the first frame of the timeline and drag the Movie Clip you just created.

Right click the first frame, select "Copy Frames" and paste it 40 frames later. On this last frame move the Movie Clip to other position.

Right click any frame between the first and the last one and select "Create Motion Tween"
Your time line is automatically changed and everything is animated for you.

This is how all frames look together:

Test the movie (Ctrl + Enter).
If you think the animation is to fast increase the number of frames, if think is to slow decrease the number of frames.
Now let’s see Shape Tween.
Draw any object you want in the stage. (In the first frame)

Copy the first frame and paste it 40 frames later like the Motion Tween. In this last frame, change the object’s form; you can even draw another one.

Look what Flash did for you:

Just right click any frame between the first and the last and select "Shape Tween"

Click any green frame to see that flash animated the transition between the two objects.
Run the movie to see how cool the effect is.
You can also use both Tweens together, create a new Movie Clip, make a Shape Tween inside it and on the stage make a Motion Tween. Try it.
I hope you liked it
