Select planet layer in layer palette. Duplicate planet layer by pressing Ctrl+ J and delete the layer style of copied layer and move it downwards as shown below.


Press Ctrl+B to open color balance and apply it's properties as shown below.




Press 'D' key from your keyboard so that reset the foreground and background.


Select the copied planet layer. From layer palette click on add layer mask button.


Select the gradient tool from the toolbox and fill it's properties as shown. Click and drag the tool from bottom towards up. Which will create a smooth fade effect for the duplicate planet layer.




Though our wallpaper is done but some how stars are looking a little bigger. Select galaxy layer. Select eraser tool and remove the abrupt shaped white dots to fine tune the wallpaper.
